I can't believe it's taken me this long to have laser hair removal. To my surprise, I discovered it doesn't hurt at... all. You can ask them to use a topical cream to numb the skin if you are fearful like I was. I was scared it would be really painful but I've gone in twice for my bikini line and underarms and it has been pretty easy. This is a very good med spa. The doctors are very knowledgeable and the environment is nice. They are also known for their cosmetic work. I’m coming back in for a consultation with the plastic surgeon for some feedback regarding treatment for wrinkles.read more

This med spa is excellent! My best friend and I saw Dr. Sheffield for our first time getting lip injections and we were... both so nervous. But, once we got to the office, and were greeted warmly by the staff we felt more comfortable and taken care of very quickly. The doctor suggested he could use an anesthetic cream before getting the lip fillers injected. This made the procedure such a breeze. He used the Juvederm Ultra filler. The whole injection only took about 20 minutes. He kept asking for my feedback, if I wanted more volume or some extra plumping. He was very good about knowing and advising about symmetry and facial anatomy. Recovery from the lip injection procedure was fast. I didn’t have any bruising and the swelling was minor. I truly love the way my lip looks and that they look natural. I can’t wait for my next visit to the office.read more

After trying out a couple other med spas in town, I was extremely fortunate to find Dr. Sheffield and his team over at... SB Aesthetics Medical Spa. I’ve been a patient there for a number of years currently and I am always very pleased with the results! I get botox for my forehead lines and crows feet and Juvederm for my lip injections. The results look quite natural. As I’m getting a little older, I needed someone who is trained in facial aesthetics to help with symmetry and is very experienced. Dr. Sheffield certainly has an artistic eye. He was very comforting considering this was my first time getting lip... injections. He was very knowledgeable about the types of fillers. We went with Juvederm Ultra Plus. I wanted a conservative look with some enhancements but I didn’t want my lips to look like it was obvious I had fillers. He was a great fit.
