How is Lip Reduction Performed?
Because lip reduction is a surgical procedure, the first steps will be initial assessment, making sure that you are an ideal candidate for the procedure. It is important to be in a good state of health, and more importantly, to have realistic expectations.
First, a local anesthetic will be applied on the lips. Next, an incision will be made across your inner lip. From this, the excess fat will be removed, depending on how you want the outcomes to be. Usually dissolvable sutures are used with this technique. This may be followed by the same procedure on the other lip.
How long is Lip Reduction Procedure?
There are different factors that will affect the length of the surgery, such as the amount of the excess tissue that will be removed or whether it will be done only on a single or both lips. Generally speaking, however, it is going to last for about one hour .
Are There Side Effects?

How long is the Recovery?

When can I See the Results?
Even if recovery will take approximately two weeks, it should be noted that the full results will be evident only about three to four months after lip reduction has been performed.
