dermal-fillers-under-eyes
A Dermal filler is basically a soft tissue filler that is injected beneath the skin to help reduce and fill in facial wrinkles, thus giving the patient a smoother appearance. Dermal filler’s effect are temporary as they are absorbed by the body after a period of time.
Dermal fillers under eyes are naturally-derived and sometimes synthetic material which is directly inserted into the skin with the aim of filling up or plumping that area to a point where it eliminates wrinkle. Dermal fillers under the eyes can last from up to 6 months to two years when the semi-permanent dermal fillers and about 5 years with the permanent fillers( it could last even longer).

Dermal fillers under eyes are not the same as Botox (Botox too close to the eye may cause serious complications) even though their applications are similar and they both involve the use of injections. While Botox is used to remove wrinkles on the forehead and wrinkles around the eye, Dermal fillers give a plumping smoothing effect around the area that it has been applied to (some patients prefer to get both Botox and dermal fillers at once).
